| So... last night I went into Austin with the Grieb, Gen, and beccAH to meet up with Zaff and the Blaze, and oh man, what an aventure. Let me just say, first of all, that UT frat houses (no offense, of course) are GROSS. The floors were covered in a thin layer of muddy beer and empty cans and the girl's restrooms had stalls that were literally overflowing with who knows what and geez louise, it was just icky. But, now that I've said that, I must that say it was fun dancing around on the roof with Zaff's friends and traversing Austin's streets at 3:00 in the morning. I was sad, though, that I didn't get to see Joe or Tess... Apparently 38th street is nowhere near Park and San Jacinto. I checked.
And tonight? Well, I spent my Halloween behind the library Periodicals desk reading an old issue of Texas Monthly. Woo woo!! I didn't even remember to bring my candy with me... But then Dinner and K Toy and beccAH came to rescue me and we went to Whataburger and Wal Mart and it was nice. Oh, and did I mention that she and I got to play in the rain? Heck yes we did!! And we would have gotten the boys out, too, but their RA came to shoo us before we could convince them of how great an idea it was. But don't you worry, their day will come. Yay!! | Hahah so my roommate and suitemate decided to take two concerta AND two no doz to try and get all their homework done tonight... And as horrible as that may seem to be popping pills and such, it DOES make for a rather interesting evening for me!! This is now the second time they've done this, too, so you'd think that by now they'd learn to not procrastinate so much. I mean, granted, this is coming from me who is the queen of procrastination, but still... I am awake at this house doing homework too, and I am A-OK all on my own.
Oh, and Lauren's friend Britany (sp?) is here too, from Las Vegas for the weekend and mah goodness... She leads an exciting life, that girl. I mean seriously, how many girls our age get to meet Blink 182 at a club/bar-ish place AND Paris Hilton AND a drag queen AND a man named 'Fantasy' who walks around without any pants while wearing a silver running jacket and a black beaded baseball cap that says 'Bitch'?? I know not one, my friends. And as if her Beacher's escapades (Beacher's is the name of the variety show/club/bar-ish place) weren't enough, she and her friends get to sit VIP with a plastic surgeon who gives away free boobs. At Beacher's. For free. How incredibly random is that? I mean yes, it's not exactly the most saintly of giveaways, but it's definitly a conversation starter to say the least. Who gets to meet surgeons who have wives AND employee mistresses who allow you to drink and party all the live long day, or, er, night? I mean really... NO ONE!! *sigh* It's incredible things like this that remind me of how small and rather dull Georgetown is. Hmph. And I thought I lead a rather interesting life but, oh no, I haven't shmoozed with Paris or an 'entertainer' named Fantasy. Oh man, I'm going to enjoy this weekend!! | | |
